2016 December 13
by Michelle Manetti

Lipstick Disco’s 2016 Christmas musical advent calendar – we’ll be bringing a daily dose throughout December of 24 kick-ass women, who’ve been making and playing kick-ass music in 2016.

Amsterdam based Shinedoe first came to our attention back in April this year with her remix of Mars Bill‘s ‘Breath’ (which we featured on the blog HERE) we’ve been keeping a watchful eye since, but with over two decades of experience under her belt, she’s certainly no newbie on the scene. After several years of entertaining many a dancefloor, Shinedoe released her first track in 2004, the same year she launched her own label Intacto and hasn’t looked back since. Fast Forward to 2016, and along with a steady stream of DJ appearances, Shinedoe‘s releases have been coming out thick and fast. As well as her Mars Bill remix, she’s also had solo tracks out on MB Elektronics ‘Materia Ibiza Comp’ and provided the title track for the 4 track V.A EP ‘Mirror Lines’ on Idaban. This year Shinedoe has also had three EP releases on her own Intacto imprint, two of which were remix EP’s of her previous road 777 EP – Part One includes remixes from Ben Simms and Daniel Stefanik, Part Two includes remixes from Milton Bradley, 2000 and One and another Ben Simms Remix. Shadow Boxing is Shinedoe‘s third EP releaese on Intacto this year, and for today’s advent we bring you the bouncy, hypnotic ‘Rubber Band’ from the EP.
