Love Not Money S. Jay & Friends – Lucky EP

2013 May 10
by Michelle Manetti

So it’s no secret that here at Lipstick Disco we’re big fans of  Love Not Money records, consistently outstanding releases and their latest release is no exception. Their latest offering is from Leeds based producer Jay S with a little help from his friends Sweet Beat & Ostertag. 4 tracks of deliciousness. My personal fave is the fourth track, S. Jay Feat. Sweet Beat – No Problem , which nicely samples the Aretha vocals from Pride Deeper love, as well as Last Night A DJ saved my life, perfect!  This badboy is avaialable from Beatport, or general release on 13th May, theres also a cheeky little free download for you. Grab it, fondle it, caress it and love it!

and it doesn’t stop there, their last release from Ali Scott is also a banger. A little three track treat, two original tracks and a remix of the title track by A Lister.

And not for fear of overkill, one more release from them, which quite frankly is the creme de la creme, a whole goddamn 20 track album full of special musical treats, more excited than a kid in a sweetshop about this one. A few notable faves, Nik James – Crazymaker, Dene Anthony – Peace & Harmony (which is the money shot for me!!) Luke Gibson’s – Osmosis and a nice little contribution from label owner himself Luke Pompey teamed up with Will Crawshaw for their track – Crowd Control. But I highly recommend giving the whole album a spin.

I’ll leave you with that for the time being, else I’ll just end up posting the entire back catalogue, most of which is already featured on the blog anyway. So get your money out and show some Love for some outstanding music. Get downloading.
