Toyboy & Robin – No More Sunshine

I don’t know how this one passed me by, but what a belter. Off the Sccucci Manucci EP – Cinquemila Lire EP which is the fifth EP from the label, it’s more housey than their other ones, but the usual quality we’ve come to expect from them. The Other tracks are damn sizzling too, but this one from Toyboy and Robin deserves a mention all of it’s own. The label describes the track ‘New Jersey style beats and treats weave their way through MK organ basses, RnB vocals and an infectious groove’ I couldn’t put it better myself, but what i will add: The vocals are samples and spliced up to perfection from one of my fave underrated R&B tracks ‘Sunshine Anderson – Heard It All Before’ this is a must have tune.
