Waze & Oddyssey

2012 September 17

With a healthy string of really very smashing releases already under their belt on a variety of labels including: Sunday Best, Disco Bloodbath, Sccucci Manucci and Southern Fried , it’s a wonder I haven’t already given them some blog love, but better late than never. To make up for my tardiness I’m gonna throw a few tracks of theirs at you. But firstly let me introduce you to the London based duo that is Waze & Oddysey, consisting of Serge Santiago an old pal of mine from Brighton and Firas Waez, they make wonderful piano house, that sound like it might have been made in a 90’s basement in New york or Detroit, it’s deep, sexy and bang on point. Here’s some of their latest offerings:

Thier latest release that came out last Monday is a 2 track EP released by Bodywork. ‘Rejected’ and title track ‘Turn The Volume On’ are both seriously heavyweight tracks, guaranteed to tear the club up.

This next track was released just yesterday, it’s from the remix album taken from the game Tekkan Tag Tournament 2, another mega stomping track.

Jin Kazama -Far East Mix- Hall of Judgement (Waze & Odyssey street tracks mix)

Next up is a little track I’ve taken from their vaults, which only go back a few months as this duo are a relatively new collab team. Banging choon that was released back in May / June on Sccucci Manucci records.

I Can’t Hear You (Dance)

Last but by no means least, a little preview of a forthcoming release on their own label W&O Street tracks. Another two track EP. First up ‘Ma Body’ a bubbling little bouncy number.

Love That Burns (Hot Enough) EP – Ma Body

and finally I leave you with this the title track from the EP ‘Love That Burns Hot Enough’ BOOOOOM this is serious hands in the air stuff, if this track’s not huge I’ll eat my discoball!

I can promise we’ll be hearing a lot more from these guys and I can also promise I’ll be posting heaps more of their tracks in forthcoming posts. In the meantime you can follow them here:
